About Me

I'm a twenty-something teacher, military wife, and dreamer transplanted from farm country New York to Southern Georgia where I live and work. This blog is a home for my thoughts, experiences, and adventures.

Some things to know about me:

I teach high school. Enough said.

I'm a true animal lover, and my house is a bit of a zoo. I currently have two dogs (Ava and Eddie), a cat (Zeke), a rabbit (Jabberwocky), one guinea pig (Oscar), and two Silkie chickens, all of whom are a little bit zany and most of whom are rescues (which, as most animal lovers know, also means quirky).

I'm always up for an adventure. Whether it's hiking, kayaking, camping, rock climbing, or trying something new, I'm up for anything.

I love to read pretty much anything and change my mind about my favorite book/genre at least yearly. Check out what I'm reading now in my weekly posts.
